Diary of Goddess: Life Lessons Learned

I started this blog in HS, when I was this materialistic, but saying I wasn't materialistic first to start a blog and thought my life was so fab since all I did was school, shop, & friends. Fast forward 4 years later, I became this college student that realized that college life wasn't like the movies and MY struggle began...Some 10 years from HS and here I am, living my dream of going to law school, bringing a whole new meaning to MY struggle…

Quote of the day:
"Obviously they're trying to even get more youthful with their image. JLo, I think that can backfire on them, because I think a prestige brand needs to kind of stay a little distant."

I don't know why I'm finding things on LV, but they're hot, what can I say, but not now. LV use to be so prestigious, but now it's like a household brand or something. LV could have never been pictured storefront in videos a la Fabolous vids, and now they're everywhere, it seems that they're keeping it ghetto fab bling bling and they seem to be ok with it, whilst you know that LV dislikes the whole population to buy their stuff minus the socially elite corporate America a la Hilton Sisters. I just don't get it, they WERE prestigious and now they're thinking, we need money-let's cash out? It's such a facade, because they'd be all "we think we're badass and selectively selling stuff" and now they're like, "come and buy please please please." No, that is not a timeless classic argo Birkin. I love LV too, it's fun, frivolous don't get me wrong, but I just can't bare the fact that they've turned Muramaki's bag not into a piece of art, but a piece of what's hot now turning up fake bags everywhere that are sported by 16 year olds to 40 year olds, I think it's a travesty and utmost disrespectful, but the Muramaki is wrong too because they have tons of designs-hence not making it a "piece" but more like mass producting the stuff-next think you'll know, it has the label "Made is somewhere you've never heard of but sounds utterly foreign and fabulous." It just makes me sad, that they'd sell out that's all, once exclusive is like not even worth the 1200 bucks anymore if i'm going to see more fakes then real and no one saying, " wow, love the bag truly great" instead "jealousy filling them." To some, LV is a status symbol, but there are more things to LV then that- and a admirer would truly appreciate it, rather then glare cuz they think you're white trash nouveau riche. LV embodied something, now they've sold out, and let me tell you- I bet the quality is not any better. It's like LV use to be the Rolls Royce of bags, and Birkin the Bently, but I think LV has become the new Jaguar from bags, and that's the new Ford made model. Yea, and instead of saying Jag-uar as before, now Ford makes you say JAG-U-ARE, as in making it seem more English/European will make people but the hideous thing, why not buy a Lincoln instead, same engine and more sitting area for the tush anyways? Oh, and when did XOXO makes Fouvis Fuittons? It was utter disgust when I saw one girl I knew from my old school buying the whole lot- as in one in every shape, but how can you blame her, to cope the style for less then 20 bucks a pop while Muramakis are takings some serious benjamins, why wouldn't little girls go for it and why wouldn't XOXO see the money in it.

In addition, where is my scroll bar for the post, does blogger not have one now in it's new chic layout? I really hate change...:(
