Diary of Goddess: Life Lessons Learned

I started this blog in HS, when I was this materialistic, but saying I wasn't materialistic first to start a blog and thought my life was so fab since all I did was school, shop, & friends. Fast forward 4 years later, I became this college student that realized that college life wasn't like the movies and MY struggle began...Some 10 years from HS and here I am, living my dream of going to law school, bringing a whole new meaning to MY struggle…

A Tad POD

Ok, so I spent this time online for what seemed like a good hour and a half looking at Ebay's Prada Bags. I'm totally at ends with this. Some of them are real, some of them look real and guarantee them, yet they're prices are so low. There's some guy working out of Tacoma/Seattle area too. I'm wondering where he gets those things. After all, we do not sell PRADA in this STATE. It's very odd. I'm totally drooling over the Prada Pouchette bag, but I'm so cheap, it's really not that much, but when I look at the look-a-likes that could possibly real deals, i'm totally at wits with it. I mean, 30 bucks or 200 bucks? What do we all think? Anyways, I think i'm making it my mission though, this summer when I head down to Cali, I will buy myself a Prada Pouchette bag. At first, I thought when I had the shoulder bag from Prada it'd be wonderful because well then I had a Kate Spade and a Prada. I figured I work up to the Gucci Prink later and maybe a LV messenger, but I don't know, it's just the hobo/pouchette type of bags really get me. Also, I was on lj and there was this whole debate about buying the real deal or not and how many people were saying it's ok to buy the fake if you just like the style. I'm staying you're ripping off the designer even though it's a lot of money, you're paying for the design not to mention that for me I want the authentic real deal type of thing. I'm totally opposed to how Coach has tried to do their variation of print and not to mention that Guess had that "grafitti" line that LV had. I mean, god, why would you want to buy the second best, when you could just save and buy the real deal. That's why I personally wanted the Tiffany's tag bracelet- since I saw Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde, not only was that a great style, but I opted to buy an "investment" and not to mention the first and only unlike all the rip-offs that are seen from Nordies to Wal-Mart.

My Layout

It's been extrememly harsh on me. Well, we had a snowdays, thouroughly enjoyed it and decided to change my blogskin as they call it. There's this new site, so I decided, why not. I tried to get comments, but opted for the feedback instead. I don't know why I want comments. It's this thing like you always want something that you can't get or haven't gotten. I know that when I get it and people write these horrid things in it, i'll be at wits end about my life and how people perceive me. Not to mention people on the internet can be whoever they want to be, they can be mean, nice, a transvesite in some chat room and a Britney lover in the next. Sometimes I think the net brings out the worst in me, I can be really brutally mean. Such as all these things i've discussed in my journal, none of them have been actually said outloud besides that one convo with my cousin Salmon Skin Roll. Don't ask me how she brings up these odd names.

Back to Shopping-Lancome Juicy Tubes or Trish McEvoy Lip Palette

Was on MUA and decided to see which one was bigger. Got more raves on the Lancome one, but I totally dig both packagings. I'm all about the packaging, I think Lancome Juicy Tubes are great, but I had just recently brought a similar packaged lipgloss that I haven't used. the Trish one sounds great and a wonderful alternative to the UD Face Case in Rockstar, but i'm not sure, they both seem really skippy. I'm gonna go to Express and spend that 15 bucks I got for free hopfully tomorrow. I'll probably get my haircut and I think before I might wanna head over to the club to use the spa. I haven't used it and since it was a snowday, we really didn't venture out for fear of being killed by some wreckless driver. Also, I think I might go to AF and get this really cute ruffle tank that I think i'll really like in Hawaii, i'm at wits end over this boy tank with rhinestones, i'm not sure if I should get that are not. I'll probably get a pair of capris too, jeans preferably. I've really noticed that no one is into wearing Khakis. What's the deal people? I also have some percentage off at AF too, that's why i'm on gun-ho on going. I also saw this drink tee there, but I haven't seen it at the store, only online. I've noticed I look online for a lot of stuff, than go in and buy it. I should go to Borders and use Jennie-O's certificate, but I really don't feel like walking all the way over there. I mean, the whole layout of Borders sucks, it's in the middle of no where, not to mention that when you're at the mall, you're not thinking, "Hey, let's go to the bookstore!" You're more like, "ok, clothes, clothes and OMG that is so cute!"

Osbournes?

It's the new show on MTV, I missed it because I was obsessed with Ebay and tried to get through all 1158 accessory pieces of Prada. There's just too damn much. Yes, totally peeved and now must suffer through the whole Real World episode that I must have came across a good three times by now. The Walla Walla girl really annoys me, yes, she's from my state, but she's damn annoying, but gotta give her props though, the Kate Spade bag was quite nice. Also, the girl whose immensly skinny and petite, I forgot her name, but I gotta say that she's doing wonders for that Tiffany Bead braclet she's wearing. Kudos to her, and she could have been sporting a Prada bag too. Nice to know people have good taste, and not to mention Mr. Gay Pants is keeping the Diesel legend alive. Also I've realized that i'm always going to be the Prada Tods Ralph Lauren Issac Mizrahi Kate Spade Simpleton type of girl. I mean, yes I try to be trendy, but when I look at Miu Miu and Michael Kors, it just makes me gag. I guess i'll always be "preppy" no matter how hard I try to be, "street," "punk," or anything else. Oh, and I refuse to do the whole Cowboy or Bohemian look. Yes, I did do the Rockstar-but hey, doesn't anyone wanna be a rockstar? I'd be Bohemian if I could find the right peasant top, but at the present moment, they all repulse me to bits. TANGENT: Do I sould British? I think reading authors like Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte is a bit tangential to my learning of American values.
