I started this blog in HS, when I was this materialistic, but saying I wasn't materialistic first to start a blog and thought my life was so fab since all I did was school, shop, & friends. Fast forward 4 years later, I became this college student that realized that college life wasn't like the movies and MY struggle began...Some 10 years from HS and here I am, living my dream of going to law school, bringing a whole new meaning to MY struggle…

No. 45

So, I just realized this, well I realized it a while ago, but I never commented on it. I have this whole thing about socialites and the rich and always wanting to read about it. It's not like i'm insanely poor, or the middle class, or the crest of the upper class. Well, sorta if you say that the Hong Kong people have this elite society and you know about it, then you're insanely smart. I realized this, when everyone's like I need a credit card because I always want to buy stuff. Now, I was just thinking, the rich don't need credit cards because well, if you're rich, you'd already have the money and why would you want to pay the interest or APR. Then I realized, why do people want a credit card when they charge everything from pizza to a computer and then end up paying some obscene amount for interest or APR. I have a friend that is like this, she never had money on her, when she got a credit card and checking account, she wrote a check for like a 2 dollar pizza? The money to make the check cost even more? I think that's so stupid, yet it seems that society says, "hey, she has a credit card, oh yea, she's definitely got it." What's the deal with that? It's quite amusing.

Just a tidbit for you, for some realize unlike me, I didn't wear my normal watch and wore my Rolex instead. I don't really like to wear it too much, because it's kind of a distraction for others. Well, I just out of the blue wore it because I couldn't find my other watch, it was in my gym bag in the car and I just really didn't feel like going out there and I can't do without a watch in the morning. So, I wore it and this a guy kept talking to me while trying to look at the watch. I found it quite amusing and he never said anything. Very amusing.
